Sorry for the long silence! I've been frantically working on things for Katsucon and I also went to Japan for a long trip. I'm back now, and since Katsucon is over, I will be opening commissions!
Send me a dA note or you can email me at ger.tysk@gmail.com if you're interested in a quote. As a note, I charge what I do for my work based on costs for materials and what I think my time is worth. I do get a lot of requests for quotes from people who don't realize the cost of a prop and end up disappointed. Commissioning is my full-time job, and I (and other commissioners) charge what we do because we need to make a living and we base our prices off the costs of our time, labor, and experience.
If you are wondering if a prop is within your budget, here is a ballpark figure of what I charge.
-Small daggers/knives/fancy kunai start at ~$65.
-Regular sized swords and scythes start at ~$180.
-Oversized swords and scythes start at ~$300.
-Fang's Bladed Lance from Final Fantasy XIII and Genesis Rhapsodos' rapier from Final Fantasy VII are both $360.
These prices do not include shipping.

Hi! So as the title says, I'm looking for artists because I want some drawing commissions done 
I recently wrote and published a novel. In this novel are a fair number of different characters and I'd like someone to do portraits of them.
Here's the cover:
I have a post up on my tumblr for anyone who's interested. I'm looking for a few different artists because I think it would be awesome to get character portraits in different styles, as well as maybe even some landscape/scenes from the book done. For those who want a summary:
it takes place on a ship in 1841
there are mostly male characters
I'm looking primarily for digital artists
I am willing to pay! Artists should be fairly compensated for their work

Yo~ commissions are closed for now! Thanks for your interest I'm still selling my Shiva wig and the Arc Reactor pendant (below)
I just retired my Shiva costume from Final Fantasy X and am selling the wig. It's only been worn twice, so it's in really good condition. It's made out of a 51" blue wig and 13 packs of extensions and is fairly heavy - about 7 lbs or so. It's worn by hair combs that hook into the front of your hairline. I braid my hair around the front of my head so the combs have a sturdy base to hook into. Because of all the dreadlocking and modifications I did to the wig, the wig netting itself doesn't really hold the wig onto your head - the combs do.
I'm asking $250 OBO for the wig. Shipping will be calculated separately. I paid MUCH more to make it, but I'm realistic here. It's in almost perfect condition, seeing as I wore it only twice for about 4 hours each, and it really is something I'm very proud of. I hope it can go to a good home.

ALSO! I'm offering up this Arc Reactor pendant for sale. Modeled after the triangle reactor from Iron Man 2, this particular pendant is 2 inches in diameter, made out of individual sheets of aluminum cold welded together, covered with transparent styrene sheets.
It's $65 with shipping included to the lower 48 U.S. states. Shipping to other areas or international can be calculated with each buyer.
