Tsubasa Chronicles: Ginryuu

This replica of Kurogane's katana from CLAMP's Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle is 6 feet long and very hard to maneuver through the doorways of my house! I actually knocked several of the whiskers on the dragon head off and had to repair them while going through a doorway.

Dragon head and scales sculpted from Aves Apoxie Sculpt, as always, to this stuff 4EVAR.

I also made a sheath (saya) for the sword but it's nothing special, and actually I don't like it very much, so no photo of it. It's just a plain black one. The sword is actually too long for one person to be able to comfortably slide it in and out of the sheath, so sheathing and unsheathing this katana is fated to be, I fear, a two-person affair.

Also, I'm not very fond of this photo, but I don't have a place in my house large enough to take a photo of a 6 ft sword, and it was raining outside. So I had to do it in my hallway, thus the horrid lighting

Oh well!!!!
