Blitzball from Final Fantasy X.
I was never any good at Blitzball, but my husband took it upon himself to play like 5,000 games for me and got me Wakka's World Champion. It was only ultimate weapon I got for that game because I really didn't feel like spending days of my life dodging lightning or catching butterflies, or whatever.
For our FFX group, Otakon 2010.
